the greatest trap- knowledge

The world's greatest trap is something that can't even be imagined.....something that is beyond the scope of books.
i as a writer have always been told by people to read more and more books to improve my writing....but that is something that i always feel is wrong.....whenever someone advises me to do this i just give them a smile.....but the truth is that i am always disagreeing with them.....i never like such statements thought they are true to a little extent....i never argue with people who advise me to do so..... as they are also right....but as everyone has a different opinion..... to my opinion i say that reading is important for writing but to a bit of extent.....
i will explain why....now reading increases knowledge......we read to gain knowledge....now if we just take an example just a small one ...of just a small kid....now a small kid is told that if we touch fire then we might get burned up....so this creates fright in that child......this brings up the child to a conclusion that fire is dangerous and that the child never tries to put his hand in fire....so what is this....it is the knowledge regarding fire....so this means that knowledge creates fences....this is just an example to prove how knowledge creates boundary....
so now i feel that as knowledge fences up our mind, it results in the loss of creativity....so i feel that if i read more and more i feel that i cannot think beyond the scope of books.....one more example is that....we have read that time travelling is not possible....so if we read this then we get bound by the knowledge and if scientists keep this thought in their minds then they might never think of experimenting......so they might never have been able to invent so many new gadgets.....as everything not mend is unimaginable.....so even if we read books then sometimes we need to exceed the scope of books....but most of the people think that the books are the provider of all divine knowledge and they just don't imagine anything other than what the book says....it is not the fault of people...as some books are so influencing that they create a deep impact in the minds of people....
so sometimes i feel not to read the books but then i feel that reading is important ....but we should always follow what we think....we should always keep in mind that though we read but then we shouldn't get trapped in the web of knowledge....one can escape every harsh trap but once one gets trapped in the web of knowledge then one can never escape....so knowledge is the greatest trap ever...

  1. I am impressed by the way you think by listening the people, but how come one know the limitations. Say the limitation of voltage for a child is to be known otherwise it may loose the life. The books give the thinking process of the author and expands the mind of the reader so that he may further have his / her vision. It is for the creation and not the blockage. Do you not read the day to day affairs of the world and the proceedings. Since you feel not to read so you abruptly criticize shows your lack of knowledge. Once in a competitive world, you think how far a person can be successful. You may have the creativity but you need the receptivity. If you think that you are superior and no need of listening others, then try your own without his/her guidance. Also guide the youngster as you deal. Say for example if one wants to swim without having proper skill will it be advisable to go deep into the water. Take an example of your brother, whether you shall not to say something before jumps into water.
The books on advise and don’t say that you stick on to the subject which was written at a particular time period. The days are changing and hence the requirement of the knowledge. Hence you must read the books and contemplate upon the topic whether, it is fruitful for the present.
